Welcome to Balestra Primary Science Workshops, providing exciting and inspiring science workshops for schools, delivered by an experienced primary teacher and at a fraction of the cost of an out of school trip.
Each workshop is a unique combination of history and science and is built around a range of exciting wow! moments with a wide variety of bespoke resources leading to original activities that we are confident you won't find in any other primary science workshop in the country. Resources such as our working Stephenson's Rocket steam train, our 'make your own' music boxes, our pre-made circuit boards and our fossil sorting boxes, to name but a few, allow us to provide activities that are both perfectly matched to the new curriculum while also providing an extension to your pupils' existing topic knowledge.
But that's not all, because our primary science workshops are adaptable too, both for different age ranges and also for the amount of classes you want them delivering too, meaning we are ready to meet the needs of your curriculum and budget, however diverse they may be.
"Engaging, informative and fun. A great workshop with elements of science, history and literacy. Brilliant!" Y6 teacher and Deputy Head, Salford

Humans workshop; learning all about evolution by handling rare and expensive fossils in our Y3/Y6 fossils/evolution workshop; as well as over 30 further different and equally amazing activities spanning the new Science curriculum.
